Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the US. Known for her work in TV and film from the mid-80s onwards, she's won numerous awards like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth at New York New York, is a well-known actress. Bassett moved with her twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order to be near their mother as she was divorced from their dad. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in highschool and realized that acting is what she wanted to do. She was a student at Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she married Courtney B. Vance who was also an actor. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1981. Masters of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. Ward was a student at Monroe Christian School, a Christian private elementary school. Following the completion of her high school studies and then attending River Oaks High School in the summer during her junior year. There she was part of the dance and drill team.
